I’ve been fortunate to work on some great projects in my life, whether it be while I was at one of the award winning agencies I’ve operated, as a consultant for my own clients, or just as something I wanted to make out of passion. If you want to make something great drop me a line.
2012 - Present
put together a nerd blog with some friends a few years back so we could write about our nerdy passions. It was meant to be fun and nothing more. I was eventually approached by another friend and now business partner, Bryce Taylor Rudow; together we decided to turn Random Nerds into a full-blown nerd media company that crafts fantastic content and nerd-friendly experiences, so today Random Nerds is just that: a media company making awesome stuff on the web and in real life.
As the Founder and CEO, my responsibilities are to grow the company by maximizing the traditional revenue streams within our industry while identifying other unique revenue opportunities that break the mold. With my extensive experience as an executive in the creative agency world and Bryce's passion for journalism, we are in a unique position to create something special.
2016 - 2018
I make sure our millions of visitors have the best experience possible when visiting Tech.Co and I also ensure our team can leverage the best current and emerging technologies in media to provide incredible results for our clients.
2015 - 2017
As the CEO of IGL, my job was to build and manage a company that produces next-level gaming events all over the Louisiana while maximizing the value delivered to both the gamers that supported us and the brands that sponsored our organization.
2013 - 2015
nclud is a world renowned creative design agency which, in 2012, was acquired by Browser Media, a pioneer in open-source development and engineering. In 2014, I served as Chief Operating Officer and my initial focus was on overhauling the operational structure of the company to create a single, unified system that enhanced our service offering and created a maximum level of efficiency. Because nclud’s culture is flat (non-hierarchical), my approach was to implement policies that supported both self-management and collaboration. As these new methods took root I began to shift my attention to business development and took a leadership role in creating client proposals and pitching our services to new and existing clients.
After completing my operational I shifted my entire focus to client strategy and business development. In this role I was responsible for identifying new revenue streams that included scoping and executing strategy retainers; building experiential, digital, and cross-channel campaigns for our clients; conducting both internal and client-facing ideation workshops. nclud’s wealth of knowledge about the web and unparalleled expertise in UX gave me an incredibly solid base to build out a very compelling strategy service offering.
2008 - 2012
I joined iStrategyLabs as the first official company hire, which effectively doubled the team’s size from 1 to 2 people. From the very early days I was focused on putting systems and processes in place that would allow our company to handle rapid growth while also keeping our company culture in line with our CEO’s vision. In 4 years, the company grew from just two people in a small apartment to a 7,000 sq ft office in Dupont Circle, home to more than 30 designers, developers, and strategists. As the Chief Operating Officer, my primary objective was to ensure our ever-growing team was able to deliver elegant and impactful work and serve our client accounts that totaled more than $8M dollars in gross revenue in 2012 alone.
